My husband and I had been needing an air conditioning and heating system for quite a while. We had gotten some estimates from different companies. We have two separate units in our home and they both needed replacement. Our only option seemed to be to wait and hope the system we had would hold out for another year.
We heard of Bill Ramey through a friend. She assured us he was fair and honest and that we should call him and see if he could get us in the price range we could afford. Truthfully when Bill came to our home we did not think that we would be purchasing a new unit, we really wanted a reliable and honest repairman. The other estimates we received were similar in price we did not think Bill’s estimate would be much different. Bill did a thorough check on our old system and listened to our concerns. The air conditioning unit on the west side of our home constantly needed repair. But the bigger concern was the rust on and in the heating unit. We were concerned with the toxic fumes leaking in the house.
When Bill gave us his estimate we were shocked his price was considerably less. He also pointed out that the original units should have been installed with the larger unit going on the west side of the house due to the fact that it was heating and cooling more area. To our surprise we could afford the new system.
The installation went very well. Bill was at our home when he said that he would be. His work crew was neat and efficient. Our experience with Bill Ramey and his company has been a pleasure. It has been refreshing to deal with such an honest, reliable and professional person. We highly recommend Bill Ramey to anyone with a heating and, or air conditioning need.

In June 2009, you installed a new Tappan air conditioner and heating unit in my home. Just wanted to let you know about the savings I experienced over my old unit you replaced. In July of 2008 my electric bill was $505.00….In July 2009, after new unit was installed, our electric bill was $345.00 with thermostat set at same temps as last summer…and that was the highest bill I had all summer! We experienced a very pleasant atmosphere in our home. Although winter has just begun, so far so good on heating our home. We are extremely pleased with this product as well as your service.
